ABOUT CAROL
Carol’s passion is to inspire people to find joy through movement while gaining fitness and healing benefits. Her well-being approach to fitness addresses the total self: Body-Mind-Spirit. Carol enthusiastically lives her philosophy.

Carol resides in Palos Verdes, California and teaches a variety of classes at numerous locations. At the Spectrum and Equinox Clubs Carol teaches Yoga, Pilates, Nia and Water Pilates. She initiated the aquatics program at the Canterbury Retirement Home and has been teaching there since 1996. As a personal trainer, Carol specializes in programs for seniors and the obese. Since 2000 Carol volunteers as a Yoga instructor at the House of Hope, a recovery program for women with alcohol/drug addictions.

EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS & CONFERENCES
Carol has presented educational workshops in 22 U.S. States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Mexico, Canada and Brazil. In 1999 Carol first introduced aquatic fitness & Nia to India in Bombay. In 2003 she introduced aquatic fitness & Water Pilates to the staff of Youth Camp, a major fitness club chain in Taiwan.

She has presented at fitness conferences for Sara City, IDEA, DCAC, AEA, ATRI, Los Angeles Yoga Expo, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Fitness Fest. Internationally, Carol has presented at FILEX (Australia), AsiaFit (Hong Kong) and Fitness Extravaganza (Edmonton, Canada)

AQUATIC EXERCISE ASSOCIATION (AEA)
Carol was an AEA Training Specialist for 12 years and traveled nationally and internationally certifying and training hundreds of instructors. She received the 2002 AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Global Award. Carol is a frequent contributor to AKWA, the AEA magazine. She has been a popular presenter at the annual AEA International Aquatic Fitness Conference.

AUTHOR & FITNESS RESOURCE
Carol’s has authored articles for IDEA, American Fitness, Asia Fit, Australian Fitness Network, AKWA, ACE Fitness Matters and Fitness Swimmer. Her work has been featured in Oprah, Natural Health, Shape, Cooking Light, Body & Soul, Arthritis Today, Women's Health, Video Librarian, National Enquirer, and Spa Magazine. She has been utilized as a fitness expert resource in numerous newspaper articles around the world.
